      <image:caption>Rockland, Maine native and Graduate of the University of Maine, I came to Winthrop in 1971 to be the high school English teacher and Debate/ Speech Coach. Married to Doris Clark Pietroski, 6 adult children, Peter, Kristin, Andrew, Michael, Tom &amp; Dan - all graduates of Monmouth &amp; Winthrop Schools UMO, UMA, UMLA Speech Instructor Executive Assistant to Congressman David Emery Communications Manager at International Paper Company in Jay President, Treasurer, and State and Federal Lobbyist for the Maine Bankers Association, 1989-2009. Winthrop School Committee Member since 2007, Member of Maine School Management. For thirteen years, I have worked on our school’s budget, advocated for additional state aid to schools, negotiated contracts, and been proud of our schools, administrators, and teachers. Legislative Director for the Maine Association of Retirees (MAR). Chairman of the Joseph W. Mayo ALS Scholarship Committee and Chairman of the Maine Bankers Association’s Maine Higher Education Scholarship Program. Community Youth Sports Volunteer, Maranacook/Winthrop Hockey Team Supporter.
